Paul and Katie LaGrone are moving to Tampa.
Gossip Extra reports Paul LaGrone is joining Tampa ABC affiliate WFTS. Katie is “still negotiating with a potential employer on Florida’s Left Coast.”
Katie is an investigative reporter at West Palm Beach NBC affiliate WPTV. Paul is an anchor at ABC affiliate WPBF.
The LaGrone’s made news last year when they were investigated by the Florida Department of Children and Families after one of their kids was seen playing outside without supervision. The investigation came after Katie LaGrone aired a story about the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department shooting unarmed civilians.
“That didn’t affect our decision to go,” Katie LaGrone told Gossip Extra’s Jose Lambiet. “It’s all good. We’re leaving because Paul’s family lives in Tampa and he’s getting a great job. We always go places as a family. We are very excited about it.”
