WESH Hurricane Update Interrupted by Reckless Pickup Driver

WESH reporter Gail Paschall-Brown witnessed some of the bad behavior that comes with live coverage of major events.

While Paschall-Brown was giving the Orlando NBC affiliate viewers an update on Matthew’s progress in Daytona Beach, someone decided it was a good time to take their pickup truck out for a reckless spin on the deserted and wet streets.

“This is why there’s a curfew,” said Paschall-Brown. “He is going to end up hurting himself by going back and forth on this roadway like this just speeding. Hopefully Daytona Beach police will see this.”
