Orlando’s WOFL and WRBW have picked Dennis Welsh to lead them into the future. The central Florida Fox and MyNetworkTV affiliates named Welsh their new Vice President-General Manager this week.

Fox Television Stations CEO Jack Abernethy made the announcement on Wednesday. “Dennis has proven over the last 13 years that he is a strong leader who knows how to deliver successful results,” Abernethy said in a news release.

For the past eight years, Welsh has been the VP and Director of Sales for Fox’s Dallas duopoly KDFWKDFI. He is familiar with Florida advertisers, having lead sales for Fox Sports Net Southwest in addition to his duties in Dallas.

“I am honored to take on this new and exciting role at WOFL and WRBW and look forward to expanding the station’s presence in the market,” Welsh said.
