It used to be TVSpy could count on a post or two a year about that whole wacky Scott Walker mixup. New Orleans’ Scott Walker, the WDSU anchor, being mistaken for Wisconsin governor Scott Walker.
Now, WGNO anchor Anne Cutler (pictured right) has added her name to the list of mistaken twitter identities.
After Ann Coulter (picture left) appeared on Comedy Central’s Roast of Rob Lowe, Twitter trolls have taken aim at Cutler, thinking she is professional angry person Ann Coulter. Cutler has asked the tweeters to check their spelling before letting her know what they think of Ann Coulter, because she is not her.
“For the record, I am not a 54 year old conservative pundit, author or national TV personality,” Cutler wrote on the WGNO website. “I am a local morning news anchor, mom and avid home renovator. My first name is not Ann, it’s Anne. My last name is not Coulter, it’s Cutler.”
I thought you might enjoy this @JV. Thanks for being a good sport! https://t.co/hO08TNH0ag #NotAnnCoulter
