WCBS anchor and reporter Diane Macedo announced this weekend she’s leaving the CBS-owned New York station.
“And now I make the bittersweet announcement that this is my last newscast on CBS2 news,” Macedo told viewers before CBS Sunday Morning. “I’m very excited about what’s to come, but this is actually really hard.” She then thanked viewers and her co-anchors before signing off.
Macedo started at WCBS in March 2014. She worked at Fox Business Network before that. There’s no word where she’s going.
I still have a hard time believing it but today will be my last broadcast on @CBSNewYork. Please join us 6-9! @AndreaGrymesTV @VMurdockTV
