Weathercaster Stays On-Air for 33 Hours, Breaks World Record

norway tv2According to the BBC, Eli Kari Gjengedal now holds the world record for continuous weather presenting.

She broke the previous record of 24 hours on Norway’s TV2 by staying on for 33 hours. She was allowed to take a five minute break every 60 minutes on screen.

One of Gjengedal’s colleagues told the BBC, she planned to “go out for a beer” when she was done.
