WDRB-WMYO Plans Studio, Office Expansion

WDRB-WMYO in Louisville has announced an 11,000 square foot expansion of their studio and office complex. Construction on the new facility will begin in March and is expected to be finished by January 2014.

“This will give us the breathing room we’ve needed for a long time and provide our employees with what I believe will be the finest television facility in the market.  And as an added bonus, it will allow us to remain part of Louisville’s vibrant downtown scene instead of simply relocating,” president and general manager Bill Lamb said in a statement.

WDRB-WMYO’s current facilities opened in 1980. Lamb said the expansion is the result of “the incredible growth our stations have experienced in the past several years,” noting that News and Sales staff has grown by 25 employees since 2009.
