WDRB morning anchor Candyce Clift and meteorologist Jude Redfield switched jobs on-air this morning to pay off a fantasy football bet.
The station says a viewer suggested the two Fox affiliate morning anchors switch jobs after Clift’s team Candy Crush beat Redfield’s team Judy.
Clift says she was “…all jacked up on Red Bull and was going to go Spider Monkey” (a reference to a scene in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Rickey Bobby) when she did her forecast. Clift’s co-anchor Sterling Riggs called Redfield a renaissance man for his anchoring skills.
