Milwaukee CBS affiliate WDJT has hired Whitney Martin as a morning anchor.
Martin will join Mike Curkov and Jessica Tighe on the 4:30 -7 a.m. newscast on Monday.
“I’m so excited to continue my journalism career in Wisconsin and have lived near the state line my entire life,” said Martin. “I have already met so many wonderful people and look forward to telling stories that matter.”

She comes from WIFR in Rockford, Illinois where over the span of ten years, she moved from intern to 10 p.m. anchor/reporter. WDJT says the move is a reunion for Martin and co-anchor Mike Curkov who worked together several years ago at WIFR.
