WDIV Unveils Updated Look

Detroit NBC affiliate WDIV is showing off its new set and updated logo.

WDIV said a a couple of the set’s highlights are an 80-inch interactive touch screen and a 17-foot long monitor wall. It also has a multipurpose interview set and areas the station describes as “flexible” to be used in daily and weekend programming.

The set was designed by WDIV design director Jim Houff with the help of EWI Worldwide from Livonia, Mich.

“Detroit has some of the most talented fabricators in the entire world,” said Jamie Kaye Walters, WDIV creative services and programming director. “We were adamant about designing and building our set locally,”
