WDIV Reporter Heads Home to Cover Royal Wedding

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

WDIV is sending its very own Brit to Windsor and London to cover the Royal wedding.

Tim Pamplin will give viewers back home in Detroit a look at the events before, during and after the marriage of Prince Henry and Meghan Markle.

“Having Tim in England gives our viewers much more than just the headlines of the wedding,” said news director Kim Voet. “He will find the stories you won’t see anywhere else: the people, the shops, the atmosphere, the crazy-love the Brits have for the royal family. We can’t wait to see what he stumbles across.”

In addition to the stories he will file, there is an interactive, 360 degree panoramic view of Windsor castle on the station’s website, clickondetriot.com leading up to the wedding on May 19.
