WDBJ, the CBS affiliate in Roanoke, VA, has hired a hometown sports anchor.
Victoria Wood will start as the station’s new weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter.
She comes from WHSV in Harrisonburg where she worked since 2016 as a news and sports reporter.
Wood replaces Zac Glover. She will make her weekend anchor debut on Sunday.
