Cory Froomkin is joining Portland, Maine, NBC affiliate WCSH.
“This wasn’t an easy decision, but I know it’s one that’ll help me grow my career even more,” Froomkin wrote on his Facebook page. “I am so thankful to management, the producers, the directors, and to everyone else behind the scenes who work very hard to make great Youngstown television each and every single day.”
He comes from WKBN-WYTV in Youngstown, Ohio. He’s worked there since June 2013 as a weekend meteorologist.
