Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO has made some changes to its weekend morning newscast.

Kristen Swilley (pictured left) has been named weekend morning anchor, while Raven Richard (right) will join the team as weekend weathercaster.

Swilley, who has worked at WCPO since 2015, fills the empty slot left by the departure of Timyka Artist. She’ll start her new role May 22.

“I’ve known Kristen Swilley for nearly 10 years since her days as an intern in Florida,” said Mike Canan, WCPO’s senior director of local content. “It has been an absolute pleasure to watch her grow into the journalist she has become. She has a deep commitment to our community and to telling great stories that others miss.”

Richard, who joined the station in 2019, replaces Austin Winfield, who is moving out of state on June 25.

“Anyone who has ever met Raven knows that she is someone you can’t help but like because of the way she treats all of those around her,” said Canan. “Every time Raven filled in on the weather, we would get calls and emails about how great she is.”
