WCBS Anchor Is Going to Have a Long Week

Kristine Johnson, who co-anchors the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. news on WCBS in New York is going to have a long work week. She’s beginning her day filling in for Gayle King on CBS This Morning then heading down the hall at the CBS Broadcast Center on West 57th St. to anchor the local newscasts.

Johnson has also filled in on CBS News’s digital network CBSN, and has guest co-hosted CBS’s The Talk. She’s also portrayed a news anchor on episodes of various CBS shows, including Person of Interest and Elementary. Prior to CBS, Johnson anchored daytime news on MSNBC, as well as NBC’s Early Today.
