WBRZ is searching for a new weekend sports anchor.
Chris Price has left the station in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a non-news job in New Orleans. His last day was May 31.
“For those who didn’t know, my last day at WBRZ was May 31 and was also my last in local television. I’m moving to New Orleans, starting a job as a headhunter next week, and getting ready for an awesome summer with my fiancé ,” Price said in a Facebook post.
According to his sttation bio, he started at the Louisiana Television Broadcasting-owned ABC affiliate in 2013. Before that, he was at WCJB, the ABC-affiliate in Gainesville, Chris won the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Sports Report in 2013.
