Rachel Polansky is joining Fort Myers, Fla., NBC affiliate WBBH.
Polansky comes from WSYR in Syracuse, N.Y., where she was a reporter and anchor.
“Thank you all for watching and welcoming me into your lives, allowing me to share your stories, and truly making CNY feel like my home,” Polansky said in a goodbye to Syracuse she wrote on her Facebook page. “I hope you will follow me on my next adventure in Florida.”

Polansky’s first day at WBBH is Monday, Dec. 21.
