By Kevin Eck

Amy Campbell, reporter for FOX Sports NEXT was doing an interview on the sidelines of “The Opening” an elite high school football recruiting event at Nike’s Beaverton, OR, headquarters when she ended up on the wrong side of a touchdown catch.

Campbell told FOX Sports.com, she saw Chad Simmons, scout and NEXT recruiting analyst, turn before recruit Ermon Lane plowed into her after making the grab. “The next thing I saw was grass in my face.” In the video you can see the referee give the touchdown signal after the play. “That to me is just the icing on the cake right there,” said Campbell who later tweeted, “Guys, really. I’m fine.”
