New York ABC-owned station WABC debuted a new graphics package Wednesday, complete with a typo rebranding the market it covers.
Newscast Studio noticed the small type on the open graphics said “News York’s #1 News.”
TVSpy assumes it was supposed to say “New York’s #1 News.” It was fixed by Thursday.

“Work was done by an outside graphics company, and it only took one of our sharp-eyed viewers one day to point it out,” WABC told TVSpy. “Our apology to the greatest city in the world- we just had too much ‘news’ on our mind.”
