WABC Anchor Liz Cho is Back On-Air After Prolonged Absence

WABC anchor Liz Cho is back at the New York ABC owned station after a prolonged absence.

Last February, Cho addressed concerns over being gone by tweeting “Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all of your concern. I am healthy but taking some time to be with family. I hope to be back on the air as soon as I can.”

In one tweet, she told a viewer her daughter “recently transferred schools so I am spending time at home making sure this big, important transition goes smoothly. Thanks for your concern.”

A couple of weeks ago, Cho tweeted out that she’d be back. Cho has worked at the station since 2003.

Yesterday at 4 p.m., she appeared alongside David Navarro on the WABC newscast with a quick welcome back by chief meteorologist Lee Goldberg. At 6, Bill Ritter and the team told Cho she was back where she belonged, but made no mention of why she was gone.
