18-year ABC veteran Vincent Sollecito has been named president, ABC National Television Sales, for the Owned Television Stations Group. Sollecito will be responsible for managing and directing sales and marketing for ABC’s 8 owned stations.

Sollecito joins from WLS where he has been vp and general sales manager for the Chicago station.

“Vincent is such a well-respected executive internally within our station group and externally with so many of our valued clients and agencies,” said Rebecca Campbell, president of the ABC Owned Television Stations Group and ABC Daytime. “His strategic leadership will continue to elevate our position as an innovator in the local advertising space.”

“It is a privilege to be chosen to lead the extremely talented, progressive and successful sales, marketing and digital teams that make up our owned stations’ National Television Sales group and to work closely with our stations’ sales management,” said Sollecito. “By leveraging our powerful brands and continuing to deliver unique opportunities to advertisers, the future achievements of our sales team are limitless.”

Sollecito joined ABC in 1999 as an account executive at WABC, and was promoted to the position of vice president and national sales manager at the station in 2002.
