Oops. On KBAK Friday, anchors Lynda Halligan and Rob Finnerty were victims of an equipment failure that led to about 10 seconds of silence at the top of the morning newscast (video above).
“Well that was awkward,” Finnerty said when he finally realized they were on the air. He went on to explain that their monitor was down and they hadn’t been cued to start the show. [h/t meteorologist Aaron Perlman]
