Former CBS correspondent Vicente Arenas is joining Denver NBC affiliate KUSA as a weekend anchor.
The station said he would join Christine Noel starting Feb. 20.
“I have been following Vicente’s career for years,” said KUSA new director Christy Moreno. “He has a proven track record of hard-nosed journalism, but also has an engaging, friendly and generous personality that perfectly fits the culture here at 9NEWS. All the stars aligned to make this the ideal hire at just the right time.”

Before joining CBS in March 2014, Arenas worked at KHOU in Houston for 11 years. He’s also worked at WOAI in San Antonio.
