Denver investigative journalist Nicole Vap said she is leaving Tegna’s NBC affiliate KUSA.
Vap is the director of investigative journalism at KUSA. In her announcement, she said she’s spent “way too many years to count” with Tegna and KUSA and her last day will be April 22, 2022.
“I am taking a flying leap in search of my next adventure,” Vap wrote on social media. “I don’t know what that will be just yet, but I am fortunate enough to be able to bet on myself!”

Before joining KUSA in 200o as an investigative producer, she worked as a producer at Tegna’s KPNX in Phoenix. She’s also worked as a producer at WBAY in Green Bay, Wisc. and at KAAL in Rochester, Minn.
