Derek Bond has been named svp of Production Strategy for Univision Communications.
“Derek comes to UCI with a deep technical operations expertise, passion and vision,” said evp of Broadcast Operations and Technology, David Rabinowitz. “He has a stellar track record of producing and optimizing successful content across multiple media platforms and we’re pleased to welcome him to the team.”
In his new role, Bond will be responsible for Univision’s production operations. He comes from Imagina US where he was CEO of Imagina Content. He started his own media company, Bond Media, in 2012. Between 2001 and 2011, he was senior evp of Telemundo Studios & Broadcast Operations.
