Tucson Reporter Stays in Market, Gets an Anchor Role

KGUN reporter Priscilla Casper is heading to the competition to anchor.

KVOA, the NBC affiliate in Tuscon, Ariz., announced Casper will anchor the station’s weekday noon and 4 p.m. shows.

“We expect Priscilla to shine in our anchor chair,” said news director, Cathie Batbie. “She knows the stories and complexities of our market from being in the field and covering them. She’s a great addition to our veteran anchor team.”

Casper is a graduate of the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism.

She will take over the afternoon anchor chair today.
