Meteorologist George Flickinger is leaving Tulsa, Okla. NBC affiliate KJRH.
“After 10 years at KJRH,” Flickinger wrote on facebook. “I’ve accepted the chief meteorologist position at WSET-TV, ‘ABC 13’ in Virginia.” He added, “For me it’s a great career move, and a leap I’ve wanted to make as I’ll be the evening weather anchor.”
Flickinger has worked in Tulsa for 13 years. He started at Tulsa Fox affiliate KOKI before moving to KJRH. He’s also worked at KTXS in Abilene, Texas.

He said his last day is Tuesday, June 30.
