As is often the case with major stories, from Hurricane Katrina to the BP oil spill, the news coverage often begins to be about, well, the news coverage.
The same can now be said about the shooting in Tucson as all of the major networks have been broadcasting from Arizona and news outlets from around the world have flown in correspondents to cover the tragedy.
Tucson Fox-affiliate KMSB covered the media circus this week with reporter Kevin Adger catching up with a Swiss reporter as well as some NBC luminaries…

“For many of the media outlets, this tragic event will be connected with Tucson forever, kind of how Katrina is connected to New Orleans and Oklahoma City is connected to the bombing at the federal building,” Adger said.
