Tribune Broadcasting says it has partnered with Share Rocket to provide social media measurement for 27 of its TV stations.
Share Rocket is a social media ratings service that also manages social media teams and trains on-air talent to better target social media posts.
“With Share Rocket we’ve seen immediate impact on the quality of our social media activity and our competitive position”, said Tribune svp of news Bart Feder. “Winning in local news includes winning at social and Share Rocket is an important tool for all of our newsrooms to leverage and enhance engagement with our audiences.”
Tribune says it saw growth in social media performance and referral traffic after it implemented Share Rocket in four markets earlier this year and decided to use the service in all of its markets.
