Trailblazing Cameraman Retires

Nat Whittemore brought down the curtain on more than a career when, at 71, he called it quits yesterday.

Indeed, the venerable Channel 4 cameraman closed the door on a colorful era he helped to inaugurate more than half a century ago.

Whittemore began working for WBZ-TV in 1957, formally joining its staff in 1961.
