Traffic Reporter Denise Johnson Joins WXIX

Former WCPO traffic reporter Denise Johnson is joining rival WXIX, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Johnson parted ways with WCPO, the Cincinnati ABC affiliate, last year. “I’m very excited about being back on the air. I have kept myself busy for 1-1/2 years, doing a lot of different things. I didn’t realize how much I missed it,” Johnson told the Enquirer.

She will make her official debut on the Fox affiliate September 1. She replaces Stephanie Woods, who is leaving the station and moving to Philadelphia.
