Top 20 TV Markets for Opening Ceremony Viewing

As you may have read, the London Games Opening Ceremony was the most-watched opening to an Olympics ever in the U.S. with 40.7 million viewers tuning in Friday night. That’s a million more than watched the 1996 Atlanta games (39.8 million viewers) and almost 6 million more than watched the Beijing opening ceremony four years ago (34.9 million viewers).
