Telemundo Station Names VP of Marketing and Promotions

Lynette Pinto has been named vp of Marketing and Promotions for New York Telemundo 47 (WNJU).

She comes to the Telemundo-owned station from the Latin American Multichannel Advertising Council where she was vp of Business Development. Pinto worked at Kraft Foods, AT&T, Telemundo Network and NBCUniversal before that.

“Seasoned, savvy and smart, Lynette knows our market, our television audience and the communities we are privileged to serve. She also cares deeply about the issues that our viewers care about,” said Cristina Schwarz, president and GM of Telemundo 47. “Lynette is the right person for our station and I know that she will play an important role in Telemundo 47’s continued growth and success in the months and years to come.”
