Yisel Tejeda will join Orlando station Telemundo 31 (WTMO) as Noon anchor for Noticias Telemundo.
“We are excited to welcome Yisel to our news team,” said Miguelangel Lopez, vice president of news for Telemundo 31. “We are excited to see capable and enthusiastic journalists like Yisel coming back to Central Florida to inform the local communities they grew up in.”
Tejeda’s on-air debut will be Monday, April 4. She comes to Telemundo 31 from WXTV-DT, Univision 41 in New York where she was an investigative reporter and, most recently, the anchor for the late night newscast, Solo a las Once. She worked as anchor, producer and reporter for InfoMás in St. Petersburg, Fla. before that.
