KVEA, the Telemundo station in Los Angeles, has announced a new anchor lineup.
Guillermo Ochoa has been named the station’s morning anchor for Noticiero Telemundo 52 a las 5 AM y 6 AM. Ochoa will join anchor Alejandra Ortiz and weather anchor Michelle Trujillo.
Enrique Chiabra joins Ana Patricia Candianiand Dunia Elvir as co-anchor of Noticiero Telemundo 52 that airs weekdays at 5:30 PM, 6 PM and 11 PM.
In addition, Tania Leal will serve as Telemundo 52’s weekend weather anchor and will report about weather-related events during Telemundo 52’s weekday news.
“Guillermo, Enrique and Tania are experienced journalists. Their skills, energy and tireless work ethic will help to strengthen our already strong news team. I’m pleased for our viewers to get to know Guillermo and Tania and congratulate Enrique on his well-deserved new role,” said Celia Chavez, president and general manager, Telemundo 52.
Ochoa will make his on-air debut on May 28. Leal will make her first on-air appearance on June 6.
Ochoa joins Telemundo 52 from Televisa in Mexico City.
