David Hunt has been named president and GM of Knoxville, Tenn. NBC affiliate WBIR.
This marks TEGNA’s second GM appointment today. Earlier it announced Dean Ditmer as head of KPNX in Phoenix.

Hunt has worked for TEGNA since 2013 and is currently the director of local sorts strategy. He started his broadcast career at KUSA in Denver.
