Tearful Goodbye for Arkansas Anchor

KATV anchor Scott Inman signed off from the Little Rock, Ark., ABC affiliate after 17 years at the station.

Inman is leaving the station to work as director of business development for GenWealth Financial Advisors. He started anchoring at KATV in 2003.

“I’ve tried not to take myself too seriously, but I have taken very seriously the trust that Arkansans have put in me,” Inman said while fighting back tears after the station ran a retrospective of his career. “And I hope that I earned it. And I know that everybody’s been very supportive of my reasons for leaving. And that’s made me feel really good because that’s what Arkansas is.”
