Tashanea Whitlow is joining Fox owned New York station WNYW as co-anchor of Good Day Wake Up.
Starting June 15, she’ll co-anchor the weekday morning show from 4:30 to 7 a.m. alongside Dan Bowens. Then she’ll report for Good Day New York from 7 to 10 a.m.
“Tashanea’s experience anchoring multiple hours of live television, along with her interviewing skills and strong commitment to community issues, make her the perfect addition to our Good Day New York team,” said vice president and news director Byron Harmon.
Whitlow last worked for the Black News Channel. Before that, she was a general assignment reporter for WBZ in Boston. She started her career WWLP in Springfield, Mass., as weekend morning anchor.
