Tampa’s CBS affiliate WTSP has announced some changes to its newsroom.

Nicole Wolfe will join the station as director of content on June 20.

Wolfe comes from Miami, where she was the news director for Scripps’ Florida 24 Network, the Scripps state-wide streaming news network. Before that, she was assistant news director at WFTS in Tampa and at WCMH in Columbus, Ohio.

“It’s an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to work with the news team at WTSP,” said Wolfe. “I look forward to working alongside a talented group of journalists committed to making an impact in the Tampa Bay community.”

The station has also promoted Erica Guevara to senior executive producer. Before working as the ep at WTSP, she worked as news/digital content director for WPEC and as ep for WOAI and KABB in San Antonio.

Taylor Berry joins WTSP as morning executive producer starting in early June. Berry comes from Black News Channel, where she led the morning team and drove strategy and content for the OTT platform as executive producer. Berry held producer roles for a variety of stations before that.

“We always strive to find the most passionate and curious individuals to join and grow within our team,” said WTSP general manager Kari Jacobs. “I am thrilled to welcome Nicole and Taylor and congratulate Erica on her promotion. Their leadership, expertise and voices will help us serve the greater good of the Tampa community.”
