Brooks Garner, a meteorologist from an NBC affiliate in South Carolina, will be joining WFLA, Channel 8 on May 3, according to WFLA News Director Don North.
Garner, a Georgia native and graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and Mississippi State University, will be the weekend evening meteorologist on News Channel 8.

Garner has been the chief meteorologist at WIS TV in Columbia, S.C. for five years. He previously worked at WHDH-TV in Boston as a weather producer and briefly at KMEG-TV in Sioux City, Iowa. More…
