Tampa Station Interviews Guy Who Predicted World Series 2 Years Ago

By Kevin Eck

A Tampa man is getting noticed for a tweet he sent two years ago that came close to accurately predicting the outcome of the 2016 World Series.

In his November 2014 tweet, Lenn Fraraccio predicted the 2016 Series would feature the Cubs and the Indians. He also predicted the series would go to Game Seven. His tweet took a darker turn when he said the game would be cut short with both teams tied in extra innings because the world would end.

Fraraccio, whose twitter handle is @RaysFanGio, told Tampa Bay News 9 he forgot all about the tweet he sent after then Rays manager Joe Maddon went to the Cubs.

“I had forgotten,” said Fraraccio. “I didn’t even remember I had written it until that guy tweeted at me.”

As of this writing his tweet has 160,000 retweets and 130,000 likes.

He even got noticed by ESPN.
