Sinclair Broadcast Group has named Susan Connor vice president and general manager of Fresno Fox affiliate KMPH and CW affiliate KFRE.
Connor comes from KTVL in Medford, Oregon where she had been vice president and general manager since 2019.
“Susan has a track record of growing stations, and we saw great success under her leadership at KTVL in Medford,” said Rob Weisbord, chief operating officer and president of broadcast for Sinclair. “We are thrilled she will be shifting her skills and business acumen to Fresno to oversee the team at these stations.”
Before working at KTVL, Connor was the general manager at WHBQ in Memphis, Tennesse. She has also held several leadership positions across the country, including creative services director at KIRO in Seattle, Washington and station manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
“After three years as the vp and general manager in Medford, Oregon, I am honored and humbled to be promoted within the company to our great group of stations in Fresno, California,” said Connor. “I look forward to joining the amazing team at KMPH and KFRE and building great relationships in our local communities.”
