Steve Harvey, author, comedian, actor and host of “The Steve Harvey Morning Show”, has joined ABC’s “Good Morning America,” as a special correspondent. Harvey, whose first report is set to air on Wednesday, August 19, will report on lifestyle topics, ranging from parenting to relationships.
According to an ABC press release, Harvey’s reporting will be spread across multiple mediums as he interacts with “viewers around the country via ABCNEWS.com, Skype and live guests in-studio.”
Harvey can currently be heard in the mornings on his radio show, “The Steve Harvey Morning Show,” which is syndicated by Premiere Radio and heard in 60 markets around the country. His book “Think Like A Lady…But Act Like A Man” was a hit with women across the country and landed the #1 spot on the New York Times Bestseller List for 28 weeks.
