WKBN is remembering its former chief meteorologist who died six months ago from pancreatic cancer.
The Youngstown, Ohio CBS affiliate planted a tree in Don Guthrie‘s honor. Guthrie died in January at the age of 71.
He started at WKBN radio in 1970 and started doing weather on the TV side later.

“This week would have marked Don’s 45th anniversary with the station,” the station posted a picture of the tree planting on its facebook page.
