She got the shot. In the end, the bruises won’t matter, right? Kelsey Riggs, a sports reporter at Florence, South Carolina CBS affiliate WBTW, was on the sidelines of a high school football game Friday night when the action right in front of, and then right on top of, her camera:

After Dillon wide receiver CJ Sowells took a short pass, he turned to run upfield, but was hit. He managed to break one tackle, but another Darlington defender was waiting – this time closer to the sidelines.

As Sowells collided with the defensive player, he went out of bounds and straight into – and over – Kelsey.

Kelsey took a tumble and her camera was knocked upside down – at least once. The crash was so dramatic, cheerleaders surrounded her, trying to comfort her.

Minor bumps and bruises, and Riggs will be back on Friday night football this week.
