Kent Ehrhardt won’t be on air for St. Louis CBS affiliate KMOV after undergoing surgery for skin cancer.
“First off, thank you to everyone for their well wishes!” he wrote on the station’s Facebook page. “The tumor was a little more extensive than we hoped. I was in surgery for about three hours and awake for most of it!”
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says Ehrhardt told viewers last week he was going to take some time off for “a very minor case of skin cancer.”
