Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Fox affiliate in Nashville (DMA 29) has named Roberta Petterson as its new director of news effective July 26.
Petterson, who has 16 years of experience in television news, joins the station from WEWS Cleveland, where she has been assistant news director. Prior to WEWS, she was executive producer and then assistant news director at WTAE Pittsburgh. Petterson has a Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
In addition, the station also named Sunny Hampton Powell as assistant news director. More…
