Shreveport Anchor Retires

KTBS anchor Sherri Talley has retired from the Shreveport, La., ABC affiliate.

“It has been an honor to be part of this news team and to help keep you informed,” Talley told viewers on a single shot at the end of last night’s 6 p.m. newscast. “People in the ArkLaTex are some of the most generous I’ve ever met and it’s been a joy to watch that generosity unfold in news stories.”

Talley came back to KTBS in 2014. She worked there once before from 1994 until 2011, when she left to work in PR and start her own social media company.
