Shirleen Allicot Upped to Co-Anchor of WABC Mornings

Shirleen Allicot is adding the morning show to her anchor duties at ABC’s flaghship station, WABC in New York.

Allicot has been the noon co-anchor since 2015, when she joined from ABC station WPVI in Philadelphia.

“She’s been a part of the family forever, but it’s nice to see her every morning now,” said Robin Roberts during WABC’s Good Morning America tease this morning.

Allicot takes over for Lori Stokes who departed WABC last month after 17 years at the station.
