Democratic Senate hopeful Robin Carnahan is seeking a quick resolution to her court battle with Fox News, saying it could have a “chilling effect” on communication with voters.
“Because the lawsuit threatens to interrupt the free flow of information to Missouri’s electorate, and potentially impact a Senate election, Carnahan respectfully requests that the court expedite the case,” Carnahan said in a motion filed today in federal court in Kansas City.
